DL2A a le plaisir d'annoncer la mise à disposition publique d'un corpus de recherche inédit sur la plateforme scientifique Zenodo. Cette collection centralise les données primaires et les analyses linguistiques issues des travaux de terrain menés en 2005 dans l'archipel de Lamu par Mathieu Roy.
Ce dépôt en open access garantit la préservation pérenne et la consultation libre de ressources essentielles pour la dialectologie swahilie et l'histoire de la littérature est-africaine.
Ce nouveau fonds documentaire comprend :

La monographie d'analyse : KIAMU - Archipel de Lamu (Kenya), un ouvrage fournissant la description phonétique, phonologique et morphologique du dialecte kiamu.

Les archives acoustiques primaires : L'intégralité des enregistrements bruts de terrain (transférés à partir des minidiscs originaux), capturant la prosodie authentique et les énoncés in situ.

Le poème politique "Kiswahili !!" : L'enregistrement de cette œuvre fondatrice du nationalisme culturel swahili, lue par son auteur, l'éminent poète Ustadh Mahmoud Mau. L'archive est accompagnée de sa transcription phonétique stricte (API) et de sa traduction française.
En rendant ce corpus public, DL2A souhaite fournir une base de données primaire rigoureuse aux linguistes, anthropologues et spécialistes des langues africaines, tout en préservant la voix d'acteurs majeurs de la culture swahilie.

DL2A is pleased to announce the public release of an unprecedented research corpus on the scientific platform Zenodo. This collection centralizes the primary data and linguistic analyses originating from the 2005 fieldwork conducted in the Lamu archipelago by Mathieu Roy.
This open-access repository ensures the long-term preservation and free consultation of essential resources for Swahili dialectology and the history of East African literature.
This new documentary collection includes:

The analytical monograph: KIAMU - Archipel de Lamu (Kenya), a comprehensive work providing the phonetic, phonological, and morphological description of the Kiamu dialect.

The primary acoustic archives: The entirety of the raw field recordings (transfered from the original minidiscs), capturing the authentic prosody and in-situ spoken utterances.

The political poem "Kiswahili !!": The historical recording of this foundational work of Swahili cultural nationalism, read by its author, the prominent poet Ustadh Mahmoud Mau. The archive is accompanied by its strict phonetic transcription (IPA) and French translation.
By making this corpus public, DL2A aims to provide a rigorous primary database for linguists, anthropologists, and specialists in African languages, while preserving the voices of major figures in Swahili culture.
